[MUSIC VIDEO] LENNIE MORENO-"WAKE UP"| @lenniemoreno

Lennie Moreno’s “Wake Up” is THE MOST IMPORTANT MUSIC VIDEO OF 2020

You’ll rarely find an artist that also happens to be a successful tech entrepreneur. Lennie Moreno’s musical purpose was never about making money; in his own words, it is a simple moral investment to inspire, motivate, and wake people up to many of today’s realities. By paying close attention to the different sounds, clues and objects carefully placed throughout his new video; viewers can paint a clear picture of what Lennie’s message is trying to convey when talking about today’s crisis. From mandatory vaccines to the controversy surrounding face masks, from child trafficking to the entertainment industry and from mainstream media’s promotion of racial division to the Jeffrey Epstein / Ghislaine Maxwell scandal; this piece explains how all the current events are inter-connected but most importantly, provides solutions on how we can fight together to be on the right side of history.

In a world where too many eyes are focused on music videos that are 1- ignoring the issues or 2- dumbing us down, this movie-like music video brings viewers to want to become a better version of themselves and ask fundamental questions about our society. Lennie is also a 2018 and 2019 EY Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist, 2018 Mercuriades Finalist, 2018 LinkedIn Award Winner and was featured in multiple publications including The Source Hip Hop Magazine, Yahoo, Les Affaires, Green Tech Media, Startup Grind, Startup Fest, Techno Montreal, and many others. [NEW MUSIC] T.K. SOUL - "THAT'S LIFE" | @mikeellispeaks

Southern Artist, T.K. Soul releases his latest single, " That's Life"

Contemporary soul singer, T.K. Soul born Terence Kimble in Winnfield, Louisiana on August 26, 1964. From a young age, Kimble has a keen ear for music and soaked up the influences of soul, funk, and R&B artists ranging from Stevie Wonder, the Jackson 5, and Al Green to Maze, Rick James, and Prince. When he was ten years old, Kimble picked up a guitar and discovered he could easily play it by ear. Before long, Kimble was also playing keyboards, drums, and bass, and by the time he was in junior high, he had already been recruited to play in the local high school's band. Music became the dominant force in Kimble's life, as he juggled gigs with school bands, church choir, and local R&B acts.
T.K. SOUL
T.K. Soul has built a loyal grassroots following for his music that mixes R&B traditions with modern-day attitude and hip-hop accents. After a painful breakup with his girlfriend, Kimble began writing songs, and while DJ'ing at clubs and parties, he began singing his songs during breaks. Kimble began looking for a record contract, but his inexperience in the music business kept him on the sidelines for close to a decade.  Kimble began touring with R&B and funk acts as a sideman, and while performing with the band Under 21 (who would later record for Motown under the name Profyle), he was scouted by the manager of the successful Houston-based vocal group H-Town. Kimble signed on to play keyboards with H-Town while writing songs in his spare time.

After his run with H-Town ended, Kimble went back to the church for a few years, serving as a musical director at a house of worship. Kimble returned to the road when he was hired to play keyboards for soul-blues singer Willie Clayton, and soon Clayton was recording some of Kimble's material, including "Wiggle in the Middle" and "Party Like We Used To." After five years with Clayton, Kimble decided it was time to strike out on his own.  Adopting the stage name T.K. Soul, he cut his solo debut, 2002's One Woman Man, and released it through his label, Soulful Records. One Woman Man and Soul's 2003 follow-up, The Bad Boy of Southern Soul, helped generate a buzz about T.K. on the soul-blues circuit, and 2004's "Love Games" was a breakthrough that generated several regional hits for him, including "Cheating and Lying" and "You Ring My Bell." His next album, "Undisputed" rose to number 85 on the R&B and hip-hop album chart and peaked at number nine on the blues album chart. In 2009, "The Evolution of Soul" follows as Soul continues to fill nightclubs and play festivals and theme cruises. Despite his busy schedule, T.K. remains prolific releasing "Ghetto Superstar" in 2013- "Life After Love" in 2014 -"The Legacy" in 2016.

As the C.E.O. of the Soulful Records label, T.K. Soul builds his roster by signing other artists such as Magic One, Nikita, and Rhomey. Be sure to connect with T.K. on social media and digital music platforms.

[NEW MUSIC] DA GH0UL -“WHERE I BE” | @IAMDAGH0UL

The Hip-Hop Monster, Da Gh0ul releases his debut single, "Where I Be"

Hip-hop has awoken a monster with a signature sound called 'Enlightened Trap.' The on-the-verge rapper, Da GhOul, has taken up the challenge in bringing light to this new genre with his new trap anthem “Where I Be.”
Da Gh0ul is a highly creative artist -who had always had a knack for music. Since the age of 8, Ghoul started writing raps. On “Where I Be,” Da Gh0ul uses a high powered, uptempo piano key beat mixed with a soft "X-Files" type melody to give a warning to haters, the feds, and anybody else who can't see him. The song details his drive, grind, and hustle for achieving greatness amidst the ops; who may not know his acts or “whereabouts” (thus the title). But. he is at a greater place far from those, who are not about their business and the positive growth of "Self."
Da Gh0ul realized at the early age of 8; he had a liking for creating music. Him and his younger sister Patricia Berry, a.k.a. Phoenyxx Flame began recording over instrumentals using a PS2 and a broken stereo with a working mic onto tapes. At the age of 13, Da Gh0ul started working with his beats at Fl Studio and found out rhythms drove him more to music. In 2007, the teenage rapper “Decata Boi” started working with an underground artist “Angry Dank” who taught him a few basics about recording. Relying on other artists/producers for studio time and promotion wasn’t entirely advancing his music career. With in-depth consideration, at the age 16, he invested into creating his recording studio.

He 's a contender that has next

In 2012, Da Ghoul released his first ever mixtape “The Juggernaut” on DatPiff.com with the help of a SCAD student and their Mac. Shortly after, he released his second mixtape,  #UA which was heavily promoted on Instagram. Also, he has collaborated with idols such as DJ Smalls, DJ Fresh (Rich Homie Quan DJ), and " OJ Da Juiceman."
Over time, Da Gh0ul has improved his sound and overall characteristics of one of the most unique/international hip-hop artist that the industry has seen in a while. His slick punchlines and lyrical flexibility mixed with a melodic Crunk tune are just a few words to describe the upcoming Dirty South rap artist. Ghoul is a force to be reckoned with! and Keep your eyes on this artist as a contender in the Hip-hop game.
Follow Da Gh0ul and his growing movement today!

[ MUSIC] YOUNG SAINT NICK- "GOLD" | @YOUNGSAINTNICK

International Recording Artist, Young Saint Nick teams up with Canadian producer Victor Ardene on latest single, "Gold"

Young Saint Nick was born in Newmarket and raised in the studio. At the age of 16, YSN penned some lyrics and gave his best shot on the mic. It was a hobby until he met his partner in crime, Victor Ardene. The young producer's interest piqued at the age of 15 and Victor decided to attend college, where he was in the top rankings of his whole class. The partnership was a God-send because Young Saint Nick lacked the knowledge and skills needed for his newly released project. At that moment, they re-recorded/re-mastered every track on the mixtape "Raised in the Studio."

The self-titled song appeared on the mixtape, which debuted on YSN's Soundcloud and Youtube accounts. "Raised in the Studio" - a creative metaphorical semi-fictional story about Young Saint Nick's upbringing in the studio- was created during the compilation process of the project. During this time, the dynamic duo pumped out original music that was getting good responses. After their first song, "Moving On," they dropped it on an eight-track album across 150 music platforms.

At that time, YSN proved that he is a contender in this game. He started developing his musical technique quickly which could be heard in his delivery. In his own right, he was beginning to surpass some of his idols like Eminem and Nonstop mainly because he studied their lyrical punchlines and dance styles. With his natural touch and work ethic, YSN has been told by fans that they would rather watch him than Nonstop.

Young Saint Nick worked hard to get to where he is, and it's safe to say he's on his way to reaching much-aspired fame. Only time will tell where his extraordinary work ethic will take him. Connect with Young Saint Nick to watch his journey.

Growing up 30 minutes from New York City, church members at the Calvary Baptist Church in his hometown noticed his ability to have a spiritual impact through his singing at the age of only 7.
While performing regularly in New York, fans gravitated towards his unique, gritty vocals. It was at that point that Omar realized what he was born to do, Soul Music.

Omar Wilson
Omar was named Best R&B Male of the Year for 2 consecutive years at the Underground Music Awards held at BB Kings in NYC. He’s recorded with Multi-Platinum selling artist Angie Stone and DMX featuring them on songs he wrote. Angie Stone was quoted saying “Working with Omar Wilson came naturally and he is one to watch!” Omar and DMX worked on a song called ‘Faith’ and they connected on the track instantaneously which is audibly tangible. Omar’s voice and personality are contagious. He leaves a long-standing impression wherever he goes, wherever he sings and with whoever he meets.

The Omar experience has truly begun since his recent signing with BSE Recordings. Omar released his Debut Single “Passion” in September that climbed into the Top Ten of the U.S. charts. Omar has most recently released an epic recording and performance of the critically acclaimed “It’s A Man’s World” originally sung by the legendary James Brown. [NEW MUSIC] ALYSSA COLÃ’N – "I’M GUCCI" | @REALALYSSACOLON

Teen Sensation, Alyssa Colon makes her mark with New Single, "I'm Gucci"

Long Island, New York is home to 16-year- old singer Alyssa Colón. Since beginning her musical journey at age three, Alyssa has never stopped singing to her own beat. When asked about the inspiration behind her decision to pursue a musical career, Alyssa reflects on her relationship with late grandfather. A true musician himself, her grandfather would often play guitar, and eventually taught Alyssa how to sing along. This special bond is significant in Alyssa’s career, as it paved the way for her future in music. As Alyssa’s grandfather continued to coach her, she began to learn the fabric of her own sound. I continued to grow as a singer, and it made me want to do music, said Alyssa. As she kept perfecting her craft, she also ventured into playing instruments, specifically with piano.
This is a true reflection of the artist’s commitment to exceeding any boundaries, as the singer does not believe in limiting herself in her career. Music means so much to me, said Alyssa. So many of my favorite artists, like Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber, have an impact on their fans through their words, and I want to put that kind of impact on others. The 16-year- old makes it her mission to be somebody in this industry that fans and listeners can relate to and rely on for support. Through spreading light and positivity, she continues to do just that.

Looking to the future, the singer hopes to put a lasting impact on people who come to her music. She plans to go the extra mile to inspire people in the process, and do so much more than merely releasing music just to do so. “I love music and being an artist in general. Putting out music is a different story, and though I plan to do that, I also want to help people,” said Alyssa. Through the positive message delivered through her meaningful lyrics, she hopes to brighten up someone’s day, day in and day out. Whether it is on tour or at a stop along the way, Alyssa’s desire is for her fans to feel comfortable relying on her through life experiences. Her musical style, which includes pop mixed with a RnB feel, is extremely versatile.

Her overall artistic persona is something that sets her apart from the rest. “My music is going to be different," said Alyssa. I want to do a mix of things that other artists aren’t currently doing. I want to bring back the RnB vibe, and I feel I can do that with my voice and style of music." There are major things in the work for this talented singer, and the sky is the absolute limit. Her current single, “I’m Gucci” is a teenage girl’s perspective of being very confident with goals.

Alyssa is serving bossiness on this track and is warning her peers that are hanging out, that she has a totally different agenda. The hook ” I’m Gucci, I’m Bougie, and I can be a little snooty, Don’t test me, Don’t mess with me, but you will see a lot of press about me!” Here I am making my mark, selling hits and I’m gonna to spark.” is very catchy.

Alyssa is definitely bound for stardom with this hit and will be serving more in the near future. We won’t be letting the cat out of the bag. You’re just going be in suspense until she drops another one with a very notable artist in the hip-hop game. Stay tuned for major things in the works for this talented singer.

"We Winnin" the meticulously-planned follow-up single to LoudPack's hood mantra "Ain't Ballin," is finally here. "We Winnin" is another street anthem giving praises to those that continue to strive and survive in Chicago.   The art of survival is not an easy task while living in the cold hard streets of Englewood. It seems that all young Black men from Chicago are the only ones who have to deal with harassment or ostracism, but the “Loud Pack Team” doesn’t use this as an excuse to press forward. Although violence and gunshots ring out in their neighborhood every hour, the music continues. The Loud Pack Team are a new strain of Hip Hop, a different kind of lyricism. Over the years, the crew has assembled a total package of musical geniuses, magnetic charisma, and business acumen The team consists of two lyricists, King Bone and Young Flash. Also, Scotty G (songwriter and hype man) contribute to the team’s solid structure.
“Our movement is crazy because our work ethic is incredibly consistent. While you’re sleeping, we’re working and churning out hit songs,” proclaims team member King Bone.

The Chicago-based lyricists are bringing something different when it comes to Chicago music. Their cinematic street dialect, phenomenal wordplay, and witty punchlines set them apart from the competition. The rap crew describes their music as authentic ‘Street Rap’.The uniquity of this group will stay true because this is what the fans want. They write about their reality and the reality of their peers in the sheisty streets of Chicago. Overall, the goal is to take the listener on a journey into their world without the violence.

“Our fans respect the fact that we are raw and authentic. We want them to feel the power of our movement,” states Young Flash.

Determination and perseverance have driven the team to break the monotony and staleness of the current Hip Hop landscape. They are placing blood sweat and tears into their music with visions of grandeur in mind- winning is not an option, it is a goal. In the early part of 2016, the LoudPack Team released the current single “Ain’t Ballin”, and it is earning unprecedented critical praises in the hip-hop community. Moreover, the visual of the song depicts raw intensity including the message – the life that you say you’re living, it doesn’t exist. It is arguably one of the top street anthems of the year, officially putting The Loud Pack Team on the radar of artists to look out for.

Innovatively, The Loudpack Team are creating a global following with good music, incredible videos, and artistic ingenuity. The next time that you hear the word, ‘Loud’ in any conversation, it will remind you of the team that’s got next from Chicago, LOUDPACK!

Take a look at Smoke D's @Smiznoke after 8

It’s been eight years and six months since Smoke D brought that undeniable underground sound made possible in part by himself as well as two trailblazing Southern rappers Bun-B and Pimp C, collectively known as UGK. And since touching down on free ground August 27, it’s evident that his homecoming has been a long-awaited welcome.

Within a month of being released from prison, he has received rave reviews online for his comeback single “When the Feds Pull Up” featuring Bukwild. Over a silky smooth interpolation of R. Kelly’s classic “When A Woman’s Fed Up” accented by piercing piano chords and acoustic guitar strums, Smoke honestly and unapologetically breaks down the possible consequences of living on the other side of the law. And with a highly anticipated mixtape and full-length album distributed via Trill Life Entertainment on the way, diehard fans across the nation celebrate the return of the trill.
“Judging from the internet response of my first leaked single, I definitely have an audience already in place,” saysSmoke D. “I’m bringing them back that underground sound that was there before and bringing in a better way and pick up where Pimp left off…I learned a lot from Pimp as far as coming up with that UGK sound,” Smoke admits. “I learned how to rap from him and how to produce.”
Born in Denver, Colorado and raised in Mississippi since he was six weeks old, Smoke D came up in the sleepy town of Crystal Springs, right outside the state’s capitol city Jackson. When he was 15, his mother packed up the young man and his six siblings and relocated to the faster-paced Capitol City.
“Jackson was a lot different than Crystal Springs. There were a lot of gangs in Jackson so I got acclimated to the streets through gang activity,” he recalls. “It’s just another state with another ghetto. It’s a lot of poverty. It’s just a rat race. Even if you win the race, you’re still just a rat.”
Despite all of his dirty dealings in the streets, Smoke managed to make it college. He had a friend from Crystal Springs who also attended Hinds Community College but pursued a rap career on the side. The friend invited Smoke to travel with him to Lansing, Mich. for his studio session. There, he rubbed elbows with such celebrated Flint rappers the Dayton Family.
It just so happened that the studio owner’s son wanted to record a song of his own but no one would help him. After getting the nod from his father, Smoke wrote a song with the kid called “The Pimp Mack Hustle.” Smoke only intended it to be a joke record and was mainly concerned with helping his friend’s career.
When Smoke and his friend brought their music back to Mississippi, they circulated the tapes amongst their friends. One of those friends was a local club owner named Stokes who passed both tapes along to Bun and Pimp, who were performing at the club that night.
“Out of the blue, I get a call from Stokes telling me to come to the club,” Smoke recalls. “I didn’t know what he wanted.”
When Smoke arrived at the club, the owner told him to go out to the backdoor of the club. “When I got out back, it was a limo back there. So I got in the limo and it was three girls in the limo with Pimp and Bun,” Smoke remembers. “We were listening to the music and listened to the song I did with the little boy, and Pimp invited me to come to his house for two weeks. I ended up staying for two years.”
At the time, UGK had recently signed a major label deal with Jive Records and were recording their 1994 seminal Southern classic album Super Tight in New Orleans. They were working on a record entitled “Front Back Side to Side” and asked Smoke to get on the song. With menial promotions and virtually no airplay, Super Tight went gold and "Front, Back, & Side to Side" became a hit single for the Texas-based group.
That one verse featuring Smoke's gritty lyrics established him as one of the up-and-coming voices in Southern hip-hop. Among true fans of Southern rap music, he was a legend in the making and hadn't even released his first record yet.
The success of "Front, Back, & Side to Side" caused things to really take off for Smoke. He toured with UGK, and he and Pimp C worked on tracks that would be on Smoke's highly anticipated solo album, but before he could finish recording the album, his life took a tragic turn. Smoke had a run-in with the law that resulted in his serving a 10-year bid for manslaughter.
“My life changed after that. I wanted to keep it real and still hang in the ghetto,” he admits. “I didn’t have guidance. I was doing whatever I felt like, going wherever the wind blew me… People who are from the same place where you are from resent you for trying to do better. Back then, I was too naive to understand that.”
While locked up, Smoke recorded an audio message to let Pimp, Bun and the rest of the crew know that he was ok. Pimp chopped it up and put the audio as song intros on the next gold-selling album Ridin’ Dirty.
“While I was in the penitentiary, it put a lot more hype on me,” says Smoke. “That got me respect in the prison because I was trying to do something. God blessed me all the way.”
As luck would have it, though, 10 days after Smoke got out of prison, Pimp was on his way to prison. “I got out expecting an easy road but it didn’t turn out that way,” he says. “I was really out there on my own, trying to avoid trouble. I waiting on Pimp…I was rap hustling and street hustling.”
That street hustling gained him another round trip ticket to prison as Pimp was being released. “Before Pimp got out, I was back in trouble so when he was getting out, I was headed back in,” says Smoke. “By the time we got to reconnect again, he was found dead in California. I don’t know if it was God’s will for us not to coexist in the same space or something. I don’t know.”
On his last sentence, Smoke faced a 20-year bid but got out on “good time” for participating in rehabilitation classes. Last year, prior to his release, several previously unreleased tracks from Smoke, Pimp C, Bun-B and Lil Boosie, among others, were released on Smoke D’s mixtape The Lost Files, hosted and mixed by DJ Big House.

“A whole lot of people know who I am but they don’t see my face,” says Smoke. “I’m not a person who’s always out. I stick to myself but now it’s time to use my talents to further my family and people I know and love.” And that’s exactly what he is set to do with his forthcoming mixtape and full-length album fueled by runaway single “When the Feds Pull Up.”
“Before, I had this big house built as far as the music. But since I’ve been gone, the house done got old. So I’m in the process of rebuilding, reestablishing and bringing everything back up to date.”
