[EP] ED Prezident$ (@Edprezidents) - "Afghanistan"

The newest ED Prezident$ album, "Afghanistan," is finally here! This project has been in the works for a long time, and I'm so proud of how it turned out! The album features 8 tracks of raw, honest, and thought-provoking hip hop that archives the experiences of an United States Army Veteran that has served in both Iraq and Afghanistan The album tackles important themes such as social justice, mental health, and the human condition, all while maintaining a strong sense of authenticity and integrity. That's pretty rare in music these days! You don't want to miss this project!

[Video] Tony Cleveland - "G-Unit"

Naptown's own Tony Cleveland got one! The banger "G-Unit" sees Tony over a knocker of beat as he weaves rhymes about the hustling life. The lyrics are cinematic and easy to see even without the assistance of the KTK directed video. "G-Unit" is a street anthem for those in the trap and a sonic experience for those who may have never been there. If Tony Cleveland continues to drop songs like this, the future is looking as hot as the stove for him!

[Music] Teck-Zilla F/ Recognize Ali, Da Flyy Hooligan, Elzhi & RX The Rapper - "The Best Emcees"

Hard-working producer/DJ Teck-Zilla is not resting on his oars as he returns with another posse cut that brings together some unexpected names for a unified lyrical assault front. The song in question, titled “The Best Emcees” is a brooding cinematic cut that brings Ghanaian/American lyricist Recognize Ali, UK’s Da Flyy Hooligan, Detroit’s super lyricist Elzhi (of SlumVillage fame), and emerging rapper/actor RX The Rapper. The aptly titled record sees the rappers bring out the proverbial big guns and each solidifying their status as trusted lyricists in their own right. Recognize Ali opens up the floor with his gruff vocals and verbal body blows as he shoots at the opposition while giving props to a certain legendary Queensbridge who paved the way. This is followed by RX The Rapper’s animated hook that reminds us that other emcees are fish food when it comes to this crew. We then head to the UK courtesy of Da Flyy Hooligan who blends flashy bravado raps with his distinct UK underground swagger draped in Donna Karen while cruising the ends in a regal Aston Martin. The last verse is anchored perfectly by Elzhi who points out the flaws of certain enemies who try to ice him but he skated off with 8 figures. The fun doesn’t stop here as the revered lyricist raises the ante with each bar as he ends with this quote, “My mind is so woke, I’m laughing at sleep” right before Teck-Zilla flips the beat into a groovy jazz section to close it out. “The Best Emcees” is Teck-Zilla’s follow-up single to the previously released “LosTtres Grandes” which featured John Jigg$, Revalation and Nolan The Ninja.
