Southeast San Diego, CA rapper Mitchy Slick presents the Niko Alexzander-directed music video for "Keep Gettin Money", the new single from Everybody Hates Mitch, Mitchy's new collaboration album with Central Valley, CA producer Sir Veterano. The "Money" visual comes on the heels of music videos for Everybody Hates Mitch singles "Dago Nights" (watch the music video) and "In My El Co" (watch the music video). Making its mark heavily in a micro-genre Sir Veterano coins "sweaterfunk", the album features guest appearances from E-40 (stream "Klack You Out" on Spotify) as well as Jay Worthy (stream "Name In They Mouth" on Spotify), Ise B, Deltrice, Bosko, 2die4 and Silky Slim. San Diego rap stalwart Mitchy is CEO of Wrongkind Records, a familial collective of rappers, deejays and artists (watch the music video for "Imperial" featuring OsoOcean). Mitchy is a member of the rap supergroup Strong Arm Steady, along with rappers Phil Da Agony and Krondon. In 2021 Mitchy released 23 Blocks (stream the album on Spotify). In the past he's collaborated with artists such as Lil Wayne, Nipsey Hussle, and The Game, whose Documentary 2.5 featured three guest shots from Mitchy. In 2021 Sir Veterano released The Gathering (stream on Spotify), featuring MC Eiht and Ras Kass, which was followed up by All Hail The King, his collab album with Fresno, CA emcee Fashawn (stream on Spotify). Sir Veterano is the premier producer on the roster of Fresh Yard Records, helmed by Vet's music manager, Walt Liquor, and Kwa Nguyen, also owner of Fresh Yard Clothing. Everybody Hates Mitch is inspired by the 80's West Coast cocaine rap era. Purchase the CD & digital album at freshyardrecords.com.
